TitansRX Europe CEO Max J. Pucher has presented the official racing calendar for 2019
2019 marks the inaugural season for TitansRX and the official calendar contains absolute Rallycross highlights. The Austrian-based series will run six race weekends with 11-12 races in 2019. The season starts on 4-5 May with the official test at the MJP Racing Arena in Austria.
Traditional Venues
The first race will be run in Dreux, France, in late June, followed by the event on the last weekend of July, visiting the cradle of Rallycross in Lydden Hill, England. In August, the series will travel to Montalegre, Portugal, and then return home to the MJP Arena. Two race weekends in October (Nyirad, Hungary, Oct 5-6 & Estering, Germany, Oct 19-20) will round off the debut year.
Boss delighted
“It is the clearly defined strategy of MJP Promotions to revitalize what has made Rallycross the best driver-focused motorsport and to bring back the drama and action that it used to deliver to its passionate fans“, TitansRX boss Pucher explained. „Running on the classic tracks with TitansRX Europe is one key element in achieving this goal. We will soon confirm the first news teams and drivers for the 2019 championship“, he added. It seems already certain that the series will include top drivers Finnish Toomas “Topi” Heikkinen, and former F1 ace Alexander Wurz. Further blue-collar know-how is found in the leadership of the series, as Rallycross insider Atte Varsta has joined TitanxRX as commercial director.
This is great! Proper Rallycross back in track! ?????
