TitansRX announces Eurosport broadcast team

TitansRX has announced who will front its live and exclusive coverage on Eurosport.

Accomplished sports presenter Rachael Downie will anchor the coverage, with Tom Brooks providing commentary.

Downie has worked as a sports presenter for a number of years, covering many European motorsport series as a pit-lane reporter. She has also fronted football shows for FATV, SPORF and Ballsy Women, and also anchored the Global Sports News for Arise News Network on Sky. She also works as an ambassador for United Nations Women, campaigning for gender equality through their HeForShe campaign.

„I’m so excited to be joining TitansRX,“ she said. „I think we will not only see competitive, powerful racing, [but] I think this is going to be the series everyone’s going to be talking about. I know I will be.“

Brooks, who was on the mic for TitansRX’s maiden group test event at the MJP Arena in April, has been working in the industry for the best part of a decade. After working his way up through local radio, he joined MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports as a journalist and voice over artist in MotoGP and as lead commentator on international television for the FIM CEV Repsol. Gamers will perhaps know him best as a voice on the Gran Tourismo video games and the game’s live broadcasts.

„Rallycross has been a passion of mine since I was a young boy; I’ll always remember watching tapes of my Dad winning in the British championships in the early nineties,“ said Brooks. „His influence clearly rubbed off as I’ve been lucky enough to get some experience myself having tested a couple of cars over the last couple of years, and will be making my racing debut at Lydden Hill later this year.“

You will be able to watch every round of TitansRX on both Eurosport and Eurosport Player.
