Timmy Hansen was the practice pacesetter for the second round of the 2019 TitansRX season in Essay, France as the field’s times dropped considerably compared to round one practice.
The Swede’s best time of 33.309s was just over a tenth of a second faster than Hayden Paddon, who once again showed strong pace.
Round one winner Topi Heikkinen was third fastest, 0.255s adrift of Hansen, while Kevin Hansen and Nelson Piquet Jr. completed the top-five.
Local hero Antoine Masse set the sixth fastest time, ahead of Craig Breen, who joined the field less than a day after his victory in the Ypres Rally.
Breen beat fallow rally convert ‚CsuCsu‘, who is looking to bounce back after a day plagued with technical issues yesterday.
Round one podium finisher Jerome Grosset-Janin, and Ronny C’Rock rounded out the top-10, ahead of Tamara Molinaro, who had a hairy moment at the final turn, and Reini Sampl.
